I really want to get my homeroom teacher something nice. She's soooo sweet to us. I'm homeroom president, so I asked everyone in the classroom to bring in $3. So now we have a total of $75. I thought it would be nice to get a $50 American Express giftcard, the ones you can use anywhere. The other $25 could buy her a gift basket. What do you think?

the gift card sounds lovely but perhaps instead of a gift basket you could take that $25.00 and get someone to bring in a camera and take a photo of each one of you as well as a class photo - you could put them in a small photo album and decorate the album. something like Class of 2008! she must be a pretty awesome teacher to get this great a gift - but then you must be a pretty awesome class! merry christmas
