My cousin is due in September so she's going to be having her baby shower soon. Rather than buying her one big thing, I was thinking of buying a basket and putting a bunch of baby things it it. I could spend $30 - $40 bucks. I'm only 17 so I don't know what else to put in her basket besides baby powder, baby shampoo and lotion and onesies. Do you guys have any other ideas? Thanks! (:

If she knows she is having a boy, an All Blacks Newborn Gift Set is really, really cute - booties, hat, etc. If you buy that, it's all done for you. Nicely packaged, with a bow and a gift card. If she is having a girl, there are lots of lovely girly things you can put in the basket - a cute pink onesie, pink lamb toy, pretty baby bootees, etc. Ultimately, whatever you give her will be appreciated. Or you could do something different and buy HER a gift. You could shop online at Shopenzed.com and give her a lovely sterling silver charm bracelet with one charm on it, and that would be within your price bracket. There are some really cute sterling silver charms, like the Angel of Love, Angel of Protection, baby bootees, baby carriage, dummy, etc. Then she can add to it if she has more kids or to mark another special chapter in her life.
