I plan on putting together a wedding gift basket for my friend. My idea so far consists of using a laundry basket and getting small household items such as bath and hand towels (colors according to house colors), a few small kitchen items and so on. Anyone have other suggestions? I'm gonna use ribbon (wedding colors) and shrink wrap to top it off. All ideas are appreciated!! Thanks!

You could fill in the gaps in the basket with some tins of spices or other kitchen staples such as measuring spoons, wooden spoons, measuring cups, swiffer cloths, trash bags, . Newly married people or couples just starting to set up housekeeping together don't always think about the little things.
