One of my very close girlfriends just recently went into labor and I plan on visiting soon, but I'd like to get together a little gift basket or something cute to bring with me. Any ideas of what I can do?

Does she know what the sex of the baby is yet? If you do, get lots of little presents that are either pink or blue, depending on the gender or if you don't know, then it's best to go with the colours yellow or green. Stuff like toys for the baby or anything that would help as it's growing older, blankets, clothes, bottles, dummies, nappies and maybe even some gifts for her, like chocolate, some flowers, bath kits, perfume, music or any sweet little mementos you see, could even be a small keyring, as long as you thought it connected you to her in some way. Then, there's the fun of decorating the basket too, like adding pretty ribbons and string, try and make it creative by maybe drawing your own design out and adding your own cut out shapes onto it or famous Disney characters.
