***besides pencils, markers, crayons, glue (the kids all buy these themselves) I was thinking about stuff like stickers, ....???? I'm not sure what else. I'm looking to make a little gift basket of things she could use in her classroom.

Great Question! This idea is better than any apple mug! I teach k-5... and the things I have to buy the most are... * Pencils, gluesticks (they disappear, run out faster than families think) * stickers * dry erase makers (if they have a white board in their room) * Sharpies * Kleenex * small ziploc bags * hand sanitizer * "prizes" for bingo and/or other games (i.e. small erasers) I know these seem very "practical" and not fun... but that's where I spend a lot of money. I'm sure she'll love it.
