...Hawaii? I'm in New Zealand. I've found places that will deliver fruit gift baskets, but am hoping for an online grocery store, or personal shopper service to stretch the money a bit further. Thanks so much. :-)

Right now and for the next month or so strawberries are where it's at (even at the local grocery store, we're buying them for well under a dollar a pound). In a couple weeks, though, blueberries come into season. And then come July raspberries, apricots, plums, and peaches. http://www.hollabaughbros.com/Fruit_Char

The thing is just about any kind of fruit that grows anywhere can be grown on Hawaii. Some varieties just aren't grown there that often because of land use restrictions which hamper overcoming even the most simple complications in growing. And most of the good stuff that's worth shipping out to Hawaii in apples and pears isn't really available until fall harvest. It's really best to buy the stuff from a US supplier if you're going to send it to Hawaii. The import regulations for food into the US are pretty convoluted so even if you find someone outside the US who will ship bulk produce to Hawaii, you'll get charged just a huge amount of money.
