Please answer only if you've been hospitalized at a military or VA Hospital...Our Women Marine Assoc is wanting to do some projects for our local VA hospital. Last year my kids and I made 'hygiene' gift baskets for the Spinal Cord injury ward and it was a big hit. Please help with ideas that would have made your stay more bearable (I had one guy who was so thankful for Q-tips!).

Believe it or not, small craft or hobby projects are awesome. Especially those Indian Moccasin ones. You get to make them, then wear them. (Come in handy for those trips to the Smoking shelter outside)
