I have had a lot of time to think. I'm a stay at home mom, and I would really like to start making porcelain dolls as a hobby, and to sell for extra money around the house. Has anyone done this? Is there anything else I can do on the side besides candles? I really don't want to do gift baskets.

Hi, In order to make porcelain dolls you will have to be able to pour them and fire them which means you need special equipment, I suggest you look into creating Reborn Dolls. They are the newest dolls for collectors. You don't need special equipment besides the paint and needles to make them. It is a wonderful hobby and can be profitable once you are good at it.
