What can I use my big empty basket for?

First off, I don't want to put flowers or gifts of any kind inside it. It's a brown basket that has a handle and it's about the size of a breadbox. It's shaped very strangely too. It's rectangular, but it has two rounded edges. I usually keep a few books or photo albums init, but it is somewhat deep so it doesn't hold big things well, and it's too big to hold tiny items. I was just looking for something to put into it, or maybe to make something simple out of it to get it off the floor and looking better. Thanks for any suggestions.

I love baskets and use them all over the house. I have one in the dining room full of cloth napkins, several next to chairs that are used to hold magazines and catalogs, one in the kitchen that has recipes that I am going to try, another one in the kitchen full of all sorts of snack things that keeps children of visitors busy if they are told they can choose one, one full of things like soap, disposable razors, small cans of shaving cream, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, etc so guests can get something they need if they left theirs at home (most of the items are from hotels). The last one is left on the floor in the guestroom and has brought comments from almost all of our guests. Baskets make it easy to keep the house clean as you can pick them up to dust or vacuum under and around them, and they keep clutter off of the endtables and the coffee table.
