What ideas can you give to me for a pollyanna?

So, my family is doing something different this year ~ we're doing a Chinese Pollyanna which everyone brings 1 gift for a certain amt. ~ puts em' all on the table and then we pick #'s, etc. My problem is I ran out of ideas. I decided to do somewhat of a Basket of Cheer. I have to make sure that it's a unisex gift. I want to buy a basket and put a bunch of stuff in it ~ for example, I so far have ~~ crossword book, sudoko book, frame, chapstick, fleece blanket, playing cards, air wick plug-in, air wick refill, pocket tissues, 2 candles ~~~ that's what I picked up so far. I also was thinking of picking up either a pair of movie tix or gift card to blockbuster or both but not sure yet. Also had in mind of alcohol minis ~ most of these people drink. I was thinking of putting bags of candy in there, word search book, box of assorted teas, and a mug. But I'm lost after that ~ would anyone be able to help me??? Thanks for reading & maybe helping!!!

Wow! Can I be in your family? I don't know what your spending limit is, but you have already thought of a lot of stuff I'd be happy to get, especially the puzzle books. (Perhaps a specialty puzzle book, like Logic Puzzles? That's what I love!) Also, are you in a state where they sell Lottery tickets? If so, put a couple of those in (maybe $5.00 worth). SOMEbody's gotta win every once in awhile! I did that for work one year. The people that actually won a prize REALLY enjoyed getting the ticket. Also, you mentioned a pair of movie tickets or gift cards to Blockbuster (or both). That's good, unless you happen to know what specific movie would be most popular, and in that case, you could buy it so it would be a permanent gift. (Again, I don't know your spending limit.) How about a mail sorter? One of those wire or wooden slotted things that someone could keep their monthly bills in (rather than thrown somewhere on top of a table). That went over big one year at work. Maybe other people will have other ideas to add. All-in-all, sounds like it's going to be a great Christmas with your family this year! Hope you get something great!
