it's this little girl in my son's class that loves my son, and the teachers think it's cute, they take pictures together and sit next to each other everyday.. so valentines day is near and there having a party at school.. do you see anything wrong with my son giving her a gift,, its a stuffed dog in a basket with little candy hearts.. and the rest of the class will get a bag with little candy hearts in it.. my husband said it's wrong that i'm starting something???????

There's nothing wrong with it. You are helping your son learn about friendships with girls, a fine art. Friendships are different with boys and girls. It's sad that men are taught that to have a friendship with a woman it has to be sexual. They are taught that from such a young age. It's ridiculous. It sounds like you have the makings of a real gentleman.
