i am a founder of a gospel group in cincinnati, ohio we are in need of funds to support our ministry we have solicited our friends and family to support us by donating gift cards to make a basket that we can raffle off.can we do this without applying for any license and if not what license do we have to apply for we have an EIN # and we are non-profit organization

I do not know about Ohio, but some states require a gaming ( or gambling ) license to conduct public raffles , does not matter if you are a 501C3 or regular for-profit organization. Best to check with your state government.
