I am putting together a holiday basket for a family in need. The children are an 8th grade male and an 11th grade female. That is really all I know about them. I would like to spend no more than say 30 dollars per child but want them to have something under the tree. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thank you!

very nice of you to do this :) I'd go with some nail stuff for the girl. maybe some bubble bath, socks, gloves, basic makeup - lipgloss, mascara - i wouldnt buy lipsticks because you never know what she wears, a magazine for the boy - some socks, a winter hat/gloves, a small lego or bionicle set for like $10, a magazine for him too i'd throw in a few chocolate bars too - nice little sweet treat
