I'm not much into whiskeys, but I'm planning to arrange a basket for a birthday/ anniversary gift. The couple is in their late 40's. What do you think?

Not really, I first came across it in South America and it seems to me that it is marketed quite heavily there. The only other place I have seen it is in Tokyo. However...... most whisky is bought to impress people, the taste becomes secondary, so it depends as to how knowledgable the couple is about whisky. and where they are from!
