So a while ago I entered a contest for a trip to NYC, a photo shoot, and a gift basket. It was held by barbizon. A little while ago, I received a call to go to a hotel where they have auditions to be in the agency. The presentation made it seem like it was trustable. They did say most people will probably need the school, which comes with a fee. And they said that most people will not make it. They needed a headshot, and basic info like aaddress im hhopingto make it, but I'm a little skeptic about it. My friend told me two people I know did the same thing and made it. They went through the school, and then were never contected again. They said they would only call you for an audition is you have the requirements for whatever it is, so maybe that is why. But i have searched it and I so far get the idea that if you get an audition you dont think it is a scam, but if you went through the school and havent recieved an audition yet, you think it is a scam. Obviously this wont matter to me if i dont end up making it. But if I do, id just like to ask your opinion.
