so my boyfriend of 4 years has been saying he wants to get me a ring. But for valentines day he gets me a tea basket full of tea boxes and I dont even drink tea that much?? I was not very excited about it and now hes dissapointed/mad at me because I didnt give him a good reaction about the gift. what should I say or do I already said I liked it and I would use it but hes not convinced. Help?

Why not be honest. Tell him that because of recent talk you were slightly disappointed but that doesn't mean you didn't appreciate his gesture. You may also want to mention that it wasn't really a gift that was suited to your particular tastes but you still like that he tried.
