my sons school is having a silent auction and his class theme is "reading and writing". what we are doing is putting together a basket for this theme and the better the basket appeals the more money we will raise for the PTA Here are some of the items we have:notebooks;reading books;crayons;color pencils ;letter flash cards;magnet letters;letter bingo;pencil grips;pencils;pens;binders;erasers;sharp… light;book mark's;highlighters;composition books;activity books and book store gift cards i would like to know if any one has any more ideas that will allso go with this theme

Snacks to munch on while reading. A diary to keep track of what you are reading. Your basket seems pointed towards elementary school children - with crayons and flash cards, etc. Have you thought about something for adults instead? Bookmarks A neck pillow to use while sitting up in bed reading, or in a car.
