We are going to WDW and are considering a Disney Floral/Gifts basket for our room as one family member has a birthday during our vacation. I know everything at Disney is relatively expensive, but these gift baskets really do seem overboard. Does anyone out there who has gotten one think it was worth it?

We ordered a gift basket once, for our daughter's 16th birthday. We started off with the one called Mickey's Kool Snack, because we wanted the cooler. We didn't want the water & other expensive snacks that came with it. They let us mix & match from other baskets. We got an embroidered washcloth & towel set with Minnie on it, a photo album, pen & some snacks. We also added some balloons. They were very nice to deal with & our daughter loved the surprise. I'd say that if you really know that the person you're giving the basket too likes the items available then that's fine & if you can afford it. If not, then I would make a reservation at a special restaurant where you can celebrate the birthday person's special day or get a Disney gift card. WDW is a great place to celebrate a birthday.
