How much do you pay for a gift basket?

I am wanting to start a small business making and delivering gift baskets in a small to medium town. Can you tell me how much you have/do pay for gift baskets.

It depends on the size, contents, and appearance. Gift baskets can range from $20 to over $200. You should base the price on what your paid for the contents, including the basket and % of profit you want to earn from them. If you spent $70 total on one basket and it's contents then you might want to sell it for 30% more that price. So you make that $70 back plus a profit.
