I'm needing a gift idea for a couple I am good friends with. They are getting ready to buy a house, so I thought I'd get them something practical to help them out when they move for their Christmas gift this year. Possibly a gift card, but was also trying to think of any items they might need when they do move. I've seen housewarming gift suggestions of gift baskets and things like that, but I'd like to get them something they could use everyday or something along those lines. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is this their first house? There are lots of things that you could get for them. You could always get them things for their kitchen. You'd be surprised how many little things people need but don't have, like a wooden spoon, nice cu-lender, plates, spoons, the list goes on. You could also get them a nice decorative "candy" bowl to use on their coffee table. People usually really love these. Just look around your house and think of things that you use all the time. Maybe you could get them a nice coffee pot. I betcha they would love that.
