I am making a baby shower gift basket and I was wondering if that basket would be okay or if I need the wooden/easter type of basket. I plan on putting a bunch of little stuff in the basket....like soaps, brush, nail clippers, wash clothes, burp rags and so on. I already have a basket and its pretty much the same as this one. Only mine does not have the two handles....so would mine be okay...honest answers please cuz i dont wanna go there looking sleezy

I think it is fine....little baskets are always nice with a new baby. I had one in each room with my newborns to catch all the clutter that seems to accumulate all over the house with a newborn (pacifiers, rattles, caps, gloves, etc.) If you are worried about the overall effect....just line it with a nice blanket and it will be very nice. You may even want to wrap the whole thing up in Cellophane to make it appear very BOUTIQUE-ISH.
