I don't have a ton of $$ to spend, and these are not super close friends, but i still woud like to get them something. Any ideas?? I was thinking of small gift baskets or something. What do you think?

I just posted this on another site, but I have had the same problem time and time again. I have done movie watching baskets before and it worked out great. Especially if you are going to make more then one. I went to Blockbuster / Hollywood Video Rentals and got a 5 dollar card (enough for 1 movie rental). Its enough for one movie. They also have the microwave bucket popcorn there. I bought that used it for a bucket I filled up. Inside it with a bottle of soda 20oz, some candy from the dollar store/grocery store, the giftcard and a personalized xmas card from me with a specific note about a fun time we had during the previous year. It was a big hit.. and it was only like 10 -15 bucks a person when i was finished. Good Luck!
