I'm looking for practical and useful suggestions to include in a gift basket that are just for a new MOM after she returns from the hospital after delivery....items that will help with her comfort needs, etc. I'm also not sure what she can't have since she will be breastfeeding, in terms of discomfort relief. Please, help this first-time auntie. Hee hee Thank You!

A nice soft cushion to sit on. A hot water bottle for comfort when not holding baby.Long terry cloth robe, blue if baby is a boy, pink if girl or just plain white, I should have said light blue. A gift basket is nice. Mom will get things for baby but not for herself, so let some things be for her alone.
