How do I decorate a gift basket?

it sorta looks like this: http://www.wildwalnut.com.au/images/seag… except the white part is this color: http://www.beanproducts.com/mm5/graphics… and instead of 2 handles..its just one going across. Its for my mom for xmas..how can i make it all pretty and decorate it. its going to have several stuff inside but i want the basket to look pretty too.. any ideas? maybe a bow? idk

Maybe you can glue old pictures to the outside, and put a bow on the handle part.
