Did the Pharisees throw marshmallow ducks at him or something? What about jelly beans? Eggs? BASKETS? Did his disciples bring him gift baskets filled with candy to welcome him back from the dead? This is all a bit confusing...

Easter grass is in honor of teh Ceiling Cat - kittehs eat it in his honor - at least my kittehs did when they were alive. In Jesus's day, the baskets often had bread and fish in them - we've simply updated them with modern alternatives like Peeps, jelly beans, and chocolate. Nom, nom, nom.... :) Peace!
