I'm thinking I might make him a basket with movie gift cards and candy and the movie we saw on our first date (Iron Man aha). And then put it all in one of those tubs that you can buy at Blockbuster and stuff. Is that a good idea, or is it too corny? Any other suggestions?

Girls should never waste their money buying boys gifts. THese relationships come and go like the wind. Put your money in the bank and save it for yourself. Believe me, with this economy the way it is, don't blow your money. If you're married, its a different story. This 6 month anniversary is a big deal to YOU, not to him. Boys don't care about that relationship muck. Just drop it and don't bring it up again. Only if he brings it up, then let him buy YOU a gift. Teddy bears? OMG! what a huge waste of money.
