I am writing a thank you note to veterinarians and other organizations ?

I volunteer for a local humane society and every year we give appreciation gifts to various local veterinarians and a couple of businesses who have helped us with adoptions. This year we decided to give a Valentine's thank you gift baskets (filled with various homemade cookies, fudge, etc.) I found some cards that say "Happy Valentine's" and on the front it has a picture of a Rottweiler dog in the center of a heart and inside the cards are blank. I was wondering if this sounded ok or if there are any other suggestions. This is what I want to write in the cards: The volunteers at the (I will put our humane society name here) want to give a heartfelt thank you for all of your time, care and compassion towards our many animal orphan friends.

Sounds very nice, and that's great that you volunteer to help out and give love to the animals in shelters. I was going to try my hand at making homemade healthy treats for my dog, Cindy a rescued Pit Bull mix. I haven't actually tried it yet, but it sounds like a nice idea for the businesses that you want to thank. You can make kitty treats too! There are recipes online, and some suggestions too would be peanut butter, brewers yeast, soup stock as your base made w/bones from your butcher or grocery store, brown rice, & garlic powder/not gar.salt( picky dogs are supposed to love gar.powd.) You can even place the treats on platters like the Valentine cookie tray to make it look cute accompanied by the rottweiler card. I don't know if that's something that interests you, but if you do try it maybe you can let me know how they turn out or give me any good suggestions you learned?
