I am trying to put together welcome baskets for a convention and to keep the Global flare to it we are trying to get some gifts from certain cities. I need help with Charlotte NC, maybe a vineyard, food, keepsakes etc. I live in Chicago so I would need some guidance. Thank you very much!

perhaps something related to NASCAR racing, or NBA "Bobcats", or NFL "Panthers", or banking (with 2 large banks headquartered in Charlotte - Wachovia and Bank of America), the "Lance" cracker/snack company is headquartered in Charlotte too. The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, The Charlotte Oratorio Singers, The "Blumenthal" Performing Arts Center, and the "Discovery Place" science museum are special places too, and may perhaps be able to provide some trinket for your packet.
