We've only been talking since the Thanksgiving holiday & we plan to see each other when he comes in for x-mas. No, He thought the idea of me driving down was sweet but it was the middle of the week & even if he had asked, I wouldn't have left that second to see him. I have other things & people in my life - godness knows he isn't the only man that pays me attention ( or at least tries), But, he is the only one I'm interested in @ this particular time & I would really like some advice from someone on what I should do! Should I get him a x-mas gift? If so, what? Would a gift basket filled with teas & other british bobs go over well? Should I call him? When should I call him?

I'm British, been on holiday in the US and Canada, never lived in North America. But still....I wouldn't be absolutely bowled over by a gift basket filled with British bobs (is bobs a word?:)) *if* I had lived in Britain for quite a few years prior to living in the US. Strange though it may sound, if he left Britain when he was say 9 years old, he'd actually be a lot more fascinated by his "home" and appreciate traditional gifts. Even though he won't find a few teabags AMAZING he will doubtless admire the thought that went into it. American/British pairings are pretty hot in my experience :). I'm still friends with an American who had the hots for me YEARS ago. I have heard that British men climb the ladder in terms of the attractiveness of the women they're able to aim for when they cross the Atlantic, so your competition may be tougher than if you were in the UK - move to the UK with him!!! I think you should be daring, put on some ridicuously expensive and overwhelming perfume, tell him how you think he's tasty, then strip off, reveal your little Miss Santa number, sit in my lap (wait I meant his lap), kiss him, let your hair fall in his face, rub your bust across my face..........
