like if you were in a relationship w/ someone and you had a child w/ them, then you broke up (divorced). Would you send flowers or a gift basket to your ex if he/she had a baby? would you remain friends w/ your ex? would you give them life christmas gifts or send a card? any personal experiences?

Yes I would make it as simple as possible when there is a child involved. Wars between ex's are uncalled for.
