License to sell baked goods?

My mom owns a hair salon in our house. Can i sell baked goods, fruits, veggies, eggs, gift baskets, etc from the salon without a license?

Theoretically, your mom's business license should cover selling items that aren't food (gift baskets, etc.). However, there are generally more strict requirements for food-based businesses that require health (or similar) department inspections.
