A friend ordered a big gift basket and flowers for me online to be delivered to me. I hadn't updated him with my new address so it was delivered to my old apartment. We saw the status that it was delivered yesterday. Would it be rude if I drove there Monday to ask whoever lives there to return the gift basket and card to me? So far they have never forwarded any mail I have had delivered there (for example I know for a fact I've received mail there from people who didn't have my new address and they never returned it to sender or had it forwarded to me). Do I have a right to ask them?

Yes, they should never have signed/accepted the basket under false pretenses. I would also recommend that you update your mailing address with the post office in regards to them getting your mail. Good luck.
