I just started a gift basket business and I have my prices set already. Small - $10, Med-$15, Lrg-$20, but that is just for basket and decor, then I charge a different price for the themed items I put in the basket. Which is usually another $30 at least. Does that sound reasonable to you, because a few of my customers at first thought that was to much, they always want a $20 basket, but they don't realize when you add up the basket, decor, items, card, delivery, and taxes, that $20 is pretty unreasonable. Should I advertise it differently? I would appreciate any suggestions

Yes..advertise differently. You are confusing consumers by throwing too many $ amounts or surprising them with additional costs. If your customers are willing to buy stuff for $20....considers other gift ideas that you may provide as part of your inventory. Use words like "Gift Baskets from $50" or disclaimers with "Additional fees not included" Good luck Business and Marketing Student.
