What to include in a romantic gift basket?

My dad and his girlfriend are getting married in two weeks, and I need to get them a gift. The problem is they pretty much have everything, and don't want any more household clutter, so I'm going to make a gift basket with items that won't last too long. What other than wine and chocolate can I include, that would be an appropriate gift from a daughter? Would it be weird if I included massage oil?

Well, only you know your dad...is he pretty hip or an ol' fuddyduddy? Massage oils are a great gift for the more hip dad, not so much for the ol' fuddyduddy. Wine, chocolate and flowers are the safe and generic way to go. Look more at what your dad and soon-to-be stepmom really like to do. Maybe a gift card for their favourite restaurant, or activity. How about a wine tasting tour? Or cooking classes together, learning Italian cuisine maybe? Do they enjoy the theatre or symphony, season tickets maybe? Plan a whole spa weekend for them to get away somewhere The gift basket idea is great; put a few essential oils, massage oil, bath salts and a gift card for couples massage. Just make it more personal, what do they like as a couple? What do each of them like to do...golf, hiking, cycling, bowling, dancing... Good luck! And have some fun!
