do you think it would be a good idea going around my reception with a basket picking up my wedding gift?

would it look rude to do that at my wedding or should i buy like does Cute wedding mailbox and put it on the front of the entrance where the table seating cards goes?

That would be incredibly rude. People who don't bring gifts will feel awkward and you'll look greedy. You should definitely stick with the traditional gift table. The mailbox (on the gift table) is really cute idea! Congrats :-)
