my dance teacher is taking a break and won't tell us why, but we've heard it's for a really sad reason to do with her family. she has supported me so much and me and my friend are making a gift basket to say goodbye but we're not sure what to put in it. some dance symbols or other stuff? we love her so much and hate to say goodbye and want to give her something amazing :) any ideas? thankyou!

Its really sweet of you do put something together like that and im sure that she'll love everything to do with it, purely because it shows the thought you've put in to it. Here are some things that you could do- Get her some good tickets to a professional dance show that you know she'd enjoy watching If she teaches ballet, get her a pair of pointe shoes, and all your class to sign them Group photo's of your class with her Get a note book and write down all the amazing memories you've had with her Get another note book, and each write a little message A CD of some of her favorite music, either that she likes dancing to, or some that you know she just likes. If you put in everything dancey, then it will give the impression that she is a dance teacher and nothing else. To show she is a friend and not just a teacher, put in a few things not related to dance. For example- find out her favorite food. If it is say chocolate, buy a few of the most luxary and posh chocolates you can find. (inless her favorite chocolate is cheap brands). Find out her favorite colour and get a few cnadles or something in that colour. Find out her favorite perfume. Things that are personal to her will show her you've really thought about it. Obviously it depends on your budget, but if you can get everyone the class to chip in then it will be really good. and you probably won't be doing it again so why not give her somethign really special.
