Diaper raffle at baby shower?

I keep going back and forth about this one. Showers that I have went to before had guest bring in a pack of diapers if they wanted to be entered in a raffle. Some of the winnings have been $50 gift cards, gift baskets with $40 value. Anyhow I'm not sure if this sounds greedy? I'm not going to insist the bring diapers. I was going to word on invites "To add a little extra glee and help the parents to be bring a package of diapers (any size) and be entered in a raffle" or I can simply put "Diaper Raffle" just plain and simple? Any suggestions? anyone else doing this? I'm not having just a diaper shower it's a baby shower with a diaper raffle.

If all the invite said was "Diaper Raffle", I would have absolutely no clue what that meant. In my opinion, anything implying "raffle" on an invitation seems a little tacky, though I think your intentions are in the right place. :-) A baby shower I went to a few months ago had a Onesie contest where everyone brought in a cute / clever onesie. They hung all the onesies on a make-believe clothes line, and everyone at the shower voted on their favorite onesie. The winner got a $10 Starbucks card or something like that. I thought it was a cute thing to do at a shower.
