I keep going back and forth about this one. Showers that I have went to before had guest bring in a pack of diapers if they wanted to be entered in a raffle. Some of the winnings have been $50 gift cards, gift baskets with $40 value. Anyhow I'm not sure if this sounds greedy? I'm not going to insist the bring diapers. I was going to word on invites "To add a little extra glee and help the parents to be bring a package of diapers (any size) and be entered in a raffle" or I can simply put "Diaper Raffle" just plain and simple? Any suggestions? anyone else doing this? I'm not having just a diaper shower it's a baby shower with a diaper raffle.

I didn't do this at my shower, by suggestion of my mom, and she was smart lol. She said, and I agree, that people will spend less money on the actual gift since they are considering $20.00 on a pack of diapers part of their gift. What we are doing, to get some diapers and I thought it was kind of cute. We are having a guy baby shower. The guys are all coming over to hang out and just chill. On the little invite we put that instead of gifts we are asking them to bring diapers and wipes. I even guy proofed it. I put the brand name and sizes and where to get them on the invite. We decided to do this because so many guys wanted to come to the shower and my mom, who threw my shower, didn't want it to be co-ed. The guys are actually all really excited to do this lol. Just another take on it.
