Is it REALLY that difficult to work around bangs.?

I had a very odd experience scheduling a hair cut & make over. I won a gift basket full of services. Once of them was a free hair cut & make over. I told her I wanted a long layered cut. When I called the woman I asked her how she estimated the make-over & cut to take. She then asked me what kind of hair style I have. I told her I have very long hair with bangs. Her response was "Ooooh, bangs, sounds like you already have a lot going on, I don't know if I can give you the style you want." I explained to her that I have pictures, that the rest of may hair is all one length, and I am just wanting some layers put in. She kinda hemed & hawed & said, "well, we'll see what I can do when you get here". I am honestly a bit flabbergasted, what is so hard about cutting layers into long hair, when someone already has bangs? The picture I have is a long layered cut with bangs. I think I will just get the make-over & skip the cut. She sounds like she doesn't know what she's doing.

Bangs are just bangs. It would be bad if you didn't want to keep the bangs, but from the way you described it, you want to keep your bangs. I think that she doesn't know what she's doing. I have bangs and I got my hair layered and my hair wasn't all one length. So I think that you need to find another hair salon or something...
