Hi all, My fiance & I have recently decided to help close the gap between indigenous & non indigenous health & education. Our focus is indigenous children. We have tracked down a number of hostels & residence for Indigenous Children who are living in care and have just this weekend organised our first lot of gifts for a group of children that will never go home to their families. Our gifts consisted of school supplies, toiletries, sporting equip, nicnaks & clothing....We have also tracked down a Womens Maternal Centre that provide accommodation for upto 12 families (soon to be 32) who need to travel from Remote parts of Northern QLD to have their babies in the cities hospital. We thought it would be nice to organise some gift baskets for these new & expecting mums. SO... We are trying to track down some warehouses or wholesalers that may sell basic clothes, toiletries, nappies, dummies etc that we could do up a new born gift basket. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.....from what to put in these baskets, to where to find good quality with a cheap price tag. PLEASE HELP US!! Thanks!! :-)
