My team and I have to do some type of fundraiser on site at the Relay for Life event. So far on my own I have raised over $2500 but now I need to think of something to do as a team on the day of Relay. I need ideas that are easy. I know people tend to do something like gift baskets and they sell raffle tickets for them but that takes a lot of work. I am the team captain and a freshman in college. I go away to school so I am having to try to plan the team that is made up with family and friends back home while I am away. The team is in memory of my mom who passed away from breast cancer last May 2009. So if you have any ideas on a fun/creative fundraiser to do on site at the Relay for Life please let me know =)

One good way to raise a few dollars - and help the environment... collect cans from peoples tents. At my local relay the team that does it just got their idea mentioned at a team captains meeting. Over the weekend all teams left their cans out the front of their tents :) Collect them on the trips round .
