A barber is closing shop and retiring after serving his community for decades. As a thank you, he's decided to give free haircuts to everyone that comes to his shop for the next four days before he closes. On his first day, a young ball player comes in from the local minor league team. The barber cuts the young mans hair and he tells him that he's closing his shop soon and he won't charge his customers for the hair cut. The young man thanks the barber and the next day he finds an envelope on the front door of his shop. The ball player left him front row seats to his next game as a gift. That day at work a baker comes in. The barber cuts the bakers hair and explains that since he is closing his store soon he isn't going to charge his customers for the service. The baker thanks the man and leaves. The next day the barber returns to his shop to find a basket on his doorstep with a dozen fresh muffins awaiting him. That day, a democrat politician comes in to get his hair cut. The barber cuts the politicians hair and explains that since he is closing his shop he won't be charging the man for his services. The democrat thanks the man for his services and leaves. The next day the barber returns to work to find a line of a hundred democrats demanding a free hair cut.
