Hi I did my ironing on the kitchen table on a towel and now its discolored and looks stained. What do I do? x?

Hi there I did my ironing on the kitchen table as I have no ironing board (may I add the table is my partners which was a gift from his dad) and now there is Grey/white staining on it. I used a towel and only realized that it was making marks once id finished a whole basket of ironing. Its covering the whole of the table so cannot be hidden. I really need it to be sorted before other half gets home. It wont wipe off.Please let me know if I can get rid of the marks and how. Many thanks! xx

That may have happened from the steam. You may need to bleach the spot (depending on what type of table it is). Please update the type of table it is.
