You have a sweet heart. It is so thoughtful that you want to make something for your sister's wedding gift. I am a seamstress, so of course my first thought is to sew something for her. Go out and buy the best cotton fabric you can afford and make her a set of pillow cases. You can trim them with lace or embroider on the hemline if you want to. Your sister will love that you made her something special and I am sure she will cherish it always. How to make a pillow case: Get a piece of cotton fabric 41" x 36". Fold it in half so it is 20.5" x 36". Sew together the 36" raw edges and one of the 20.5" edges. Then iron a 3" hem along the top and then fold it over another 3", iron and stitch. Now you have a pillow case. Make two. I promise you, she will love this gift.
