We've been together for 8 months. He loves football (his absolute favorite), basketball and golf. He enjoys sport video games as well and I have already bought him a video game for Christmas. I always buy him football things (his bday and extras for Christmas gifts), like his favorite team memorabilia and beer mugs/shot glasses and all that, so I'm not sure if I want to do something like that again. I was thinking basketball game tickets but they're kind of expensive. So if that fails, I was also thinking a movie basket and get some movie things but I don't know if that's corny or stupid; he is 22. And I don't want to make anything. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

What's a movie basket? I think every man wants his gf to get him a shirt that she thinks would look hot on him. Or cologne (but that can be expensive... you can get a small one though). If he's a clean freak you can get him a set of men's facial cleansers and creams.. my bf loved that. A watch if he doesn't have one.. but that can be expensive too.
