So i am due 16 days after my good friend, and her baby shower is coming up and i just have no idea what to get her. I mean she does have a baby registry but no offense to her but it kinda sucks the stuff she has on there.... I just dont know what to buy, i have a good idea of what to get somone but for some reason the fact that i also need a whole ton of stuff too makes me confused on what to buy her. I was thinking like a basket with like bibs and wipes and bottles and stuff, but that just seems lame-- then i thought to get her a gift card, but then she will know how much i spent, and i dont want her to feel obligated to spend a certain amount on my baby shower when i have mine... So any good suggestions would be great, and also things that you got at your baby shower that you thought were unique that not every person got you would be helpful.

I say buy something from her registry. She obviously does not think it's lame. For my baby shower all I got was bibs, bottles, wipes, clothes...... everything EXCEPT what was on my registry!!!!! I ended up having to spend over $400 on baby things AFTER my baby shower. I had only registered for the things I had really needed and NO ONE got them! I had ask for things like a highchair, bouncy, swing, bottle sterilizer, ect. Which if you put all that together gets really expensive! I wish more people would have shopped from my registry and it would have saved me ALOT of money. Now I'm stuck with 20 packs of wipes, many bottles, and so many clothes I can't even count!
