How will Obama apologise to the families of the innocent victims who died due to the missile strikes?

I remember him basing his campaign on love, serenity & unity (when he wasn't talking about change) Whether you agree with these missile attacks or not, how do you expect the ever peaceful Obama to apologise to these families?.. Gift baskets? Bearing in mind this is the same man who went on television (when Bush didn't, so good for him) to tell the world how sad he felt for the victims who died in that war...
