My guy and I have been together for about a year and a half. He is 37 and I am 33. Last year, I got him a basket full of the things he loves... from chocolate to his favorite type of olives. I dont want to get him a gift card or make him a cd of songs cause i have done that too. Got him a tie for his first day of work. have also given him shirts, dvds, and some books that he loves reading on random occasions. I dont think we will spend the day together cause we dont live in the same city. We will probably spend it the following weekend. He has already said that he wants to get me a dvr cause i am having vcr issues. My prevoius gifts to him have always come from heart and have been centered around things he loves. I dont want to be redundant or boring. Any suggestions?

Would he use a money clip? How about a personalized gift? You could get him a money clip and that would be something he could use and it looks really classy too.
