Is it inappropriate for company managers to ignore two employee's wedding anniversary?

Both my husband and I have continuously worked at the same manufacturing company for over 30 years. We met at the workplace and married and recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Surprisingly none of the managers possessed the kindness to congratulate us. Matter a fact the HR person just said he was married to his wife 35 years! (But he and his wife do not work together). My friends at work and my boss congratulated me and my husband's coworkers also. On many occasions such as birthdays, weddings, illness, and new babies the company shared in celebrating or sent a gift basket! My husband and I are the only employees who ever married from the workplace. (We also work in separate departments.) I feel some resentment to the managers, and will state my feelings when it is the right moment. I know now-a-days people should be happy to have a job- but the morale of the employees is important. I feel as I have on other occasions I shouldn't expect much from the company. Am I justified to be ticked off?

Of course it's appropriate. It's work, not a social club.
