My mom will soon be moving to another state for a better job. She wants me to go with her, but I would like to stay where I am. I would like to create a gift for her filled with things that will make her feel comfortable about leaving me here on my own. My goal is for her to look at the gift when she is missing me and be happy. To be more specific, the gift will be more like little sentimental things to make her feel better put together in a basket or box. An example of one such item is a picture of me when I was little with my toy phone with the caption "I'm always a phone call away". I need more things in this gift. Does anyone have any good ideas? I'm trying to go for the "what would make mom happy" angle. What do moms like? Thanks.

i would grab a basket box etc and fill it with things that would remind her of you things like: a photo a movie you watched together favourite food your perfume basically things you liked to do together so she can look at them and think of you everyday even though you are a distance away from each other she can look at the goodies in the box and smile happy memories!!
